WEDDING GUEST OUTFITS

Help me pick a dress for my ultra-fashionable friend’s wedding!

I'm not the most romantic person, and my own wedding was quite nontraditional (just five guests for a barefoot celebration at a beachside pub - but that's a story for another time). Still, there's nothing that excites me more than attending weddings, especially those where kids are not invited!

So, when my closest and ultra-fashionable Dubai’s friend announced that she was getting married in Italy next summer, I was immediately thrilled and screamed out my excitement with a loud, "OMG, what am I gonna wear?!”

In a minute a new Pinterest board was created and now I’m ready to share the first looks I've came up with; still not sure if any of these will actually be “the one,” but I think we’re heading in the right direction.

  • Total black — Yes, black is absolutely allowed for an elegant evening reception. Nothing is classier than black! I've created this look with my all-time favorite gown skirt, which I've worn on so many occasions before. However, pairing it with different tops and accessories always makes it feel fresh and unique.

  • Vintage — I absolutely adore this dress for its uniqueness; it's a vintage find from years ago! The fabric is incredible and the lace corset adds a spicy touch to its timeless, romantic vibe. Once I pair it with a matching Chanel vintage clutch I feel like a real Goddess.

  • Sheer cape — I've found this sheer tulle cape at Zara, and I just couldn't resist! I threw it on over a simple slip dress, instantly elevating the look with a sophisticated and mysterious vibe.

These are the looks, and now you are called to judge - what is your favorite wedding guest outfit?
