“WHERE DO YOU GET BOTOX?” — “EVERYWHERE!”

Dysport: My Not-So-Secret Weapon

Let's break down my Dysport (or Botox) game plan.

UPPER FACE

  • First up, my forehead. It's getting a dose of 10 units to smooth out those pesky lines.

  • Next, the glabella (fancy word for the space between your brows) is getting a heftier 20 units to tackle that angry 11 look.

  • My crow's feet are also on the hit list, with 12 units on the right side and 10 on the left. Bonus: this should give my brows a little lift, too.

LOWER FACE

  • My chin, which apparently has a mind of its own, got 6 units to calm its enthusiasm.

  • Those pesky little lines around my mouth (DAO's, in the biz) are getting 6 units to lift things up.

  • Now, for the jaw clenchers. My masseters are getting a whopping 30 units to help relax that tension and slim down my jawline.

  • And finally, the LLS muscle, the culprit behind my gummy smile, is getting 4 units to tone it down.

I know, it sounds excessive, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

The result? A more refreshed, relaxed look without looking frozen or overly done.
But let's be real, results can vary. That's why it's crucial to find an injector who knows their stuff. Facial anatomy is no joke, and your face is not a playground for amateurs.

My skin hero is undoubtedly Clare Tylor at Skinpharm. That said, I can wholeheartedly recommend any of the girls there. I’ve had treatments from different providers and they’re all incredibly skilled and talented.

Disclaimer: I'm not a medical professional. This is just my personal experience.
