ABOUT MY OBSESSION FOR NOBU HOTELS
If I travel to a city where there is s Nobu Hotel, the chances to find me there are exceptionally high — let me tell you why!
Most of you know that I value aesthetic more than anything, and I have no shame in admitting that. I love to be surrounded by beauty, it makes me feel good and a neat environment has a meditative effect on me, basically if I like what I see, I’m at peace and I can simply enjoy life a little better.
Nobu has exactly the minimal, soft-edgy and high end aesthetic that speaks to my core.
I especially love the vibe in Chicago, as I felt I it was infused with a sophisticated masculine energy that gave the whole place a charming vibe.
Of course a mention to the restaurant is due, however I won’t review the cuisine, as that would require a dedicated post — but what I want to say is that it’s extraordinary convenient to be in a hotel with a great restaurant and bar, especially when I travel with the family, as once my son is down for the night, my husband and I can sneak out for a date night at any time.
I feel that Nobu’s aficionados appreciate a redefined concept of luxury lifestyle, more laid-back, focused on quality and details, rather than on loudly showing off wealth. And what I love above all about staying at Nobu Hotels is that they’re destinations attracting not only visitors from all over the world, but also an elite of young locals. That makes me feel a little less of a tourist and helps me blend in, feeling a better connection to places I’m visiting.
