SUMMER NAILS RECAP

I used to have no interest in doing my nails. I would only get them done for very special occasions, such as a wedding or a big work event. But when I started working as a content creator for fine jewelry brands, doing my nails was no longer optional.

As you can imagine, I'm a big fan of nude natural nails. But over time, as I worked on more and more campaigns, I started to enjoy getting creative and matching my nails to the jewelry and the campaign's theme. I even became a regular at my local nail salon and now I'm their brand ambassador!

Here's a recap of my summer nails over the last three months, all created by my crew at Elan Organic Nails in Buckhead, Atlanta.

1 — The Super Natural: This is my most minimal and all-time favorite style. It's a rounded almond shape, coated with "builder in a bottle" gel to fortify my nails and keep them long without the risk of breakage. I think this style is so timeless and classy, and I never get tired of it. It's also especially convenient when I need to get my nails done before I have a clear idea of the content I'll be shooting, because these nails go with literally everything.

2 — On the Beach: This nail art was created for a jewelry summer campaign. We wanted it to be neutral with a twist, so I went for a sandy beige color and added three-dimensional details to make it interesting without stealing the spotlight from the jewelry.

3 — Smoky French: This is a pointed almond shape with a pinkish-nude base and a subtle French manicure created with a brush and powder to create a fading effect. I love this technique because it reduces the contrast and gives the nails a softer look, which I personally find more delicate and elegant than the regular French manicure.

I'd love to know which one is your favorite, and stay tuned for the fall edit!
